Job Title: Experienced Financial Modeller - Series B Fundraising

Company Overview: : Our client is a leading SaaS company dedicated to lowering emissions through AI. We are seeking an experienced Financial Modeller to review and finalize a financial model in preparation for our clients Series B fundraising round.

Job Summary: The Financial Modeller will be responsible for reviewing and refining the financial model to ensure it meets the standards and expectations of potential investors. This role requires a deep understanding of investor models, key metrics, KPIs, and sensitivity analysis. The project is expected to last 10-12 days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Review: Thoroughly review the existing financial model to identify areas for improvement and ensure accuracy.
• Finalization: Refine and finalize the financial model, incorporating feedback from internal stakeholders and aligning with investor expectations.
• Investor Metrics: Ensure the model includes all relevant investor metrics and KPIs, such as ARR, CAC, LTV, churn rate, and others.
• Sensitivity Analysis: Conduct sensitivity analysis to demonstrate the impact of various scenarios on the company’s financial performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other relevant departments to gather necessary data and insights.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial modelling, preferably within the SaaS or tech industry.
• Skills:
  • Expertise in financial modelling and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and key metrics.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Series B or later-stage fundraising.
• Familiarity with venture capital and private equity investor requirements.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards.

Project Duration:

• 10-12 days, with potential for extension based on project needs.
