Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our client's team in London. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the company on a contract basis for 3-6 months, with an estimated commitment of approximately 1 day per week.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the financial plan for the year ahead, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports to provide insights into financial performance.
- Oversee Equity and Incentives, with a focus on Enterprise Management Incentives (EMI).
- Conduct scenarios modeling to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage pension-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations.
- Oversee payroll processes.
- Handle statutory reporting and Companies House filings.
- Efficiently process expenses.
- (Optional) Collaborate with the R&D tax credits team, although another team member is leading this effort.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar financial leadership role.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
- Knowledge of equity and incentive programs, with experience in EMI.
- Proficient in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Familiarity with pension management, VAT, payroll, and statutory reporting.
- Previous experience with Companies House filings.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Location:
The ideal candidate would be available to work onsite at our client's London office. This position offers the flexibility of approximately 1 day per week, making it suitable for candidates with varying availability.
