Interim Head of Group Accounting
A leading international payments company is looking for an Interim Head of Group Accounting.
The project offers remote and flexible work options. Its expected the project will last a minimum of 4 weeks but has the potential to be extended.
Reporting to the CFO and in charge of a team of 3 people, the role requires an Indepth knowledge of the payment sector (esp the intricacies of the money flow reconciliation issuer/acquirer/processor)
The successful candidate will have a
- 8-10 years of experience in a similar role with international experience (company has a UK and US presence)
- Experience working with large data sets
- UK accounting certification
-Experience working in the Payments sector
Responsibilities will include
- Documenting processes (in collaboration with outgoing Head of Global Accounting)
- Challenging current Status Quo and suggesting operational improvements
- Assisting with upcoming audit recently commissioned
- Work closely with the Tech Business Analysts interacting with the Data Team
The role can be fully remote yet the firm is based in Central London and the candidate might be required to attend meetings in person.
The assignment is offering a highly competitive day rate.
